# Website Sucker > Website Sucker is an online tool to back up, archive, and transfer any website. Paste a URL and download a complete offline copy — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts — as a single ZIP. Website Sucker renders JavaScript-heavy sites (Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify, React SPAs) with a real headless browser before capture, so the offline copy matches the live page. Every internal link is rewritten to point at local files, so the ZIP opens and works in any browser with no internet connection. Your first scrape is free (no card required) and covers up to 50 pages, 500 files and 100 MB. If the site fits, the free scrape is the whole site and $1.99 downloads it. If the site is bigger, Website Sucker pauses at the free limit and shows what it captured; $1.99 finishes the rest and downloads the whole site, up to 500 MB (about 1,200 pages); it continues from where it stopped, so nothing is scraped twice. Credits cost $1.99 for one, $4.99 for 3 ($1.66 each), or $12.99 for 10 ($1.30 each); credits never expire, and each covers sites up to 500 MB (about 1,200 pages and 20,000 files). A bigger site pauses at 500 MB (or at 1,200 pages or 20,000 files, if it reaches those first) with everything saved; each extra $1.99 (or credit, or access code) adds 250 MB, 600 pages and 10,000 files and continues from where it stopped, up to 1,000 MB (2,400 pages and 40,000 files) per site, or the customer can download what was captured at no extra cost. Unlimited scrapes and downloads are $5.99/month, cancel anytime. Each scrape covers up to 500 MB (about 1,200 pages and 20,000 files), the same as a credit; a bigger site pauses there with everything saved, and each extra $1.99 (or credit, or access code) adds 250 MB, up to 1,000 MB (2,400 pages and 40,000 files) per site. Downloading what was captured is always free. Scraped files are stored only temporarily and deleted automatically when they expire. A saved result lasts 48 hours after a scrape finishes or pauses at the free limit, whether it was free or paid. When a paying customer requests a public site that another customer fully backed up within the last hour, Website Sucker may deliver a copy of that backup instead of crawling again. This never happens for free or partial scrapes or for anything scraped with a login, password or access code, and no customer details are ever shared. A paid scrape paused at its size limit is not deleted: after 48 hours with nothing added, what it captured is packaged and emailed. It runs entirely in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook — nothing to install. Use it to back up a site, archive a snapshot before it changes, migrate to a new platform, or keep an offline copy for reference. Only download sites you own or have permission to copy. ## Key pages - [Home](https://websitesucker.com/): Paste a URL and start your free first scrape. - [Website cloner](https://websitesucker.com/website-cloner): Clone any website into a complete, working offline copy as one ZIP. - [How to clone a website](https://websitesucker.com/clone-a-website): Three-step guide to cloning a site, including JavaScript-heavy ones. - [Features](https://websitesucker.com/features): Full feature list and an honest comparison to SiteSucker, HTTrack, and other tools. - [Pricing](https://websitesucker.com/#pricing): Free first scrape (up to 50 pages), pay-per-ZIP credits (sites up to 500 MB, about 1,200 pages), bigger sites in 250 MB steps up to 1,000 MB, and the $5.99/month unlimited plan (up to 500 MB per scrape). - [FAQ](https://websitesucker.com/faq): How to back up, archive, and transfer a website; what's included; legality; and how it compares to other tools. - [Blog](https://websitesucker.com/blog): Guides on downloading, cloning, backing up, and migrating websites. ## How it works 1. Paste the website URL. Your first scrape is free up to 50 pages and needs no card. 2. Website Sucker renders every page with a real browser and lists every page and asset it captured. Bigger sites pause at the free limit so you can see what was captured before paying. 3. Download a single organised ZIP with a credit (sites up to 500 MB, about 1,200 pages). For a site bigger than the free scrape, the credit also finishes the rest of the scrape, with nothing scraped twice. Unzip it and the site opens offline in any browser.
